I am a freelance illustrator based in Sörmland, Sweden — a small countryside spot about an hour from Stockholm.
I specialize in editorial illustration, infographics, and book illustration, but I’m always eager to explore new areas. My curiosity and wide-ranging interests inspire me to take on fresh challenges. My style is geometric, pared-down, and colorful, often infused with a touch of tongue-in-cheek humor where it fits.
I believe that a strong concept is the backbone of any illustration, and it’s the driving force behind my work. I combine bold concepts with my minimalistic, geometric style to create visuals that are both striking and meaningful. I’ve always been drawn to images that communicate powerful messages with just a few strokes — a quality I admire in people as much as in illustration and design.
Sketching is an essential part of my process. It allows me to explore various ideas before refining the best one — a stage I like to call “visual thinking.” This approach not only helps me build a solid foundation for each illustration but also ensures clients can clearly see how I’ve interpreted their brief.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me wandering through art museums, watching Formula 1 races, or enjoying a whisky sour.
